  • Early-bird rates are possible if stated on the website and the timescale that these are available for should be stated on the website and is subject to change.

  • Tickets are limited and after the allotted number of tickets are sold it will not be possible to book onto any courses.

  • Courses will be held in person and there will be no online attendance possible for revision courses at this stage.

  • Fees are non-refundable. Even if a participant has pre-paid for a course but cannot attend on the day, unfortunately, no refunds can be provided.

  • Please bring a copy of your confirmation email to the event on the day for registration purposes.

  • All events will be registered, please follow any email instructions and follow instructions carefully regarding arrival time & registration.

  • If you are not registered on the event by our records and don’t have any proof of purchase (in the form of email confirmation) then you will not be permitted to attend.

Personal Property
  • Med Ed Medics will not be held responsible for loss/damage/theft of any personal items at on-site revision courses.

Expected Behaviour
  • Attending participants are expected to behave professionally and at the standard one would reasonably expect for medical students/doctors at their respective stage of training.

  • Any participant deemed to be behaving in a disruptive or unprofessional way may be asked to leave by the event organiser and, in the unlikely event that this would happen, that student would not be entitled to a refund.

Any Changes to the Course Programme
  • Whilst it is always our intention to give attendees as much information about the event as possible, it is possible that there may be small changes to the teaching programme/timings/course venue. If this were to happen all attendees would be notified of any significant changes using the contact details they have provided as soon as feasibly possible.

Course Content Disclaimer
  • The content of Med Ed Medics courses has been very carefully designed to give attendees the best possible learning experience. All content has been written, carefully vetted and will be delivered by NHS doctors of at least four years of postgraduate clinical experience and significant experience in medical education (in addition to holding a PGCert in Clinical Education).

  • Content will not be delivered by consultants, but delivered using a well-established junior-doctor led model; the idea behind this is that the clinicians leading events have more recent experience of the medical school examination process.

  • Content will be reviewed at least annually to try to ensure all content is in line with the latest NHS guidelines.

  • Whilst we will take every opportunity to ensure the content is accurate and up-to-date to the best of our ability, we cannot be held accountable for any inaccuracies in content or any subsequent exam scores that may be affected by this.

  • If at any point a question is asked that the educator does not know the answer to they will do their best to flag this and, if appropriate/relevant, consult another clinician to seek an answer (which may be in the form of an email at a later date).

Consent for photographs for social media
  • By attending the course it will be assumed that you consent to having photos taken during any courses for our social media.

  • The course educator will provide more information about this on the day of the course and all attendees are welcome to opt out of having their photo taken by emailing med.ed.medics@gmail.com. If you do not specifically opt out, we will assume that you are happy to have a photo taken for social media.
